SALTWATER COUNTRY INC. acknowledges the Yawuru people as the traditional owners of land on which the association is situated and conducts its business.
We acknowledge and respect the Yawuru elders past and present.

With a number of Yawuru people on the Saltwater Country Inc. committee, as well as members of other traditional owner groups we are committed to respecting Yawuru culture and land. We request that those visiting Saltwater Country, Rhythm & Ride and Yawuru Country do the same.

We request that everyone who comes to Broome, to Yawuru country looks after the land like you would your home and your country. That you behave in a respectful manner whilst at Saltwater Country events and while you enjoy our beautiful town.
